Tobias L. Kienlin is professor of Prehistoric Archaeology at the University of Cologne, Germany. His research interests include
the European Neolithic, Copper and Bronze Ages, settlement archaeology, archaeological theory, social archaeology, material
culture studies and archaeometallurgy. Current projects include BORBAS (Borsod Region Bronze Age Settlement) on Early Bronze
Age tell sites in north-eastern Hungary and the Toboliu project in north-western Romania.
