– "Hvileløs" er rett og slett en god spionroman. Boka følger to parallelle historier. Den ene historien følger vi i starten av andre verdenskrig, da Eva Delectorskaya ble vervet til britisk etteretning. Samtidig følger vi henne i nåtiden, som forøvrig er lagt til 70-årene. Disse to historiene blir vevd tettere og tettere sammen utover i boka, og det er veldig spennende lesning. Eva Delectorskaya, som blir til Eve Dalton, starter med uskyldige små propagandaoppdrag for å få USA med i krigen, men gradvis blir hun dratt inn i et nett der det er vanskelig å skille venner fra fiender. Jeg synes William Boyd klarer å tegne et meget realistisk bilde av en helt alminnelig person som må gjennom ualminnelige prøvelser for å komme levende ut av det. Spennende lesning!
