– Hva kan sies om trilogien om 'Ringenes Herre' som ikke allerede er blitt sagt? Her har du alle tre bøkene som utgjør fantasy-litteraturens ubestridte mesterverk i ett bind, på originalspråket. Det tok litt tid før jeg våget meg på å lese hele verket på engelsk, men det viste seg at boken slett ikke var noe særlig mer tunglest på engelsk enn på norsk. Det er ange svorne Tolkien-tilhengere som sikkert har lest boken opptil flere ganger og da kan eg, for den interesserte, oppmuntre til å også lese den på engelsk, en vil ikke ta sade av det. Men i stedet for å lese samme boken for n'te gang, hva med å prøve noe nytt?
