– What is it about Lestat, why does everybody love him? No one knows, but in this novel even Satan himself has fallen under his spell. Taking Lestat with him on a journey through both time and space he has decided to educate him, and to invite him to stay in hell with him as his associate. This is heavy bible-stuff, but once again seen from a different point of view. I¿m certain no Christian will take offence at this novel; it¿s not blasphemy even though the title may lead some to think so. Some fans claim this to be the best in the series, more describe it as the worst. I¿d say something in between ¿ and that¿s a good thing, even the one I like the least is still a very good book indeed. Such a sad, thoughtful and questioning novel you¿ll have to look hard to find. But it¿s not only blah de blah ¿ it¿s also a very exiting novel ¿ the choices, the answers and the consequences are all very important, as Lestat finds that not all people are to be messed with.
