In this book Mark Wheeller reflects on his ongoing career as a secondary school drama teacher after 30 years in the profession. Drama Schemes also features a section in which Mark discusses the crucial role of the much-maligned school production. Throught this chapter he shows how he developed many of his plays, which have become staple parts of the curriculum, both in the UK and overseas. Two of the schemes also focus on his use of drama across the curriculum, including his growing admiration for the Mantel of the Expert system of learning.
