John Campbell is Executive Director of Growth Coaching International Pty Ltd, an Australian based consulting organisation that provides coaching and coaching services to school leaders and teachers across Australia and in the UK, the Middle East and the Asia/Pacific region.
John has been a high school teacher, a curriculum consultant and over the last decade has led leadership and coaching skill development workshops for thousands of educators across Australia, and internationally.
In addition to his teaching degrees he holds a masters degrees in organisational communication (UTS) and in the psychology of coaching from the University of Sydney and is a Founding Fellow at the Institute of Coaching
Christian is a well-respected executive coach, internationally-recognised academic and sought-after consultant.
He is a Programme Leader and Senior Lecturer within the Coaching Psychology programmes at the University of East London, one of the world's leading centres for the postgraduate study of coaching. He lectures on a number of MSc programmes in the School of Psychology, undertakes ground-breaking research and international collaborations in coaching and supervises academic dissertations.
Seen as an international authority in the field of coaching, he has been invited to speak at conferences in the US, the UK, Europe, Australia and the Middle East. He regularly presents on the topics of coaching, motivation, mental toughness and leadership. Christian has written a number of peer-reviewed journal articles and chapters about coaching.
Christian is particularly passionate about the power of coaching in educational settings. He is the editor of Coaching in Education: Getting Better Results for Students, Educators and Parents (2012), which is now one of the key textbooks in the field. Through his consultancy, the International Centre for Coaching in Education (ICCE), Christian delivers training, consultancy, coaching and professional development programmes to schools, colleges and universities in the UK and abroad. He is motivated by the idea of creating coaching cultures for learning which allow students to purposefully and confidently pursue their aspirations.
