This book includes a fascinating selection of previously unseen photographs drawn from the collections of local residents. Northfield has a beautiful conservation area about which much has been written, but the authors, John and Jean Smith, have endeavoured to cover a much wider cross-section including local churches, schools, sports and pastimes – subjects about which little has been written in the past.
