– Dette er en bok som er i samme sjanger som Trainspotting. Samme type språk og samme type kyniske mennesker og masse narkotika. En minst like bra bok som Trainspotting i mine øyne! Er i likhet med hans andre bøker ikke noen lystig affære, men blir heller ikke for depressiv til tross for sine dystre temaer.
Personlig liker jeg å lese Welsh sine bøker på orginalspråket fordi jeg liker utfordringen i å lese skotsk. Han skriver likt som han snakker. Hvis man ikke er helt stødig i Engelsk vil jeg tro dette er en vanskelig bok å lese. Men for dere som likte Trainspotting (filmen eller boken eller begge) er denne absolutt å anbefale!
