Since 2018 Dr. Khoshnaw has worked as a Senior Lecturer at the School of Engineering and Sustainable Development at De Montfort University, United Kingdom. Previously, from 2010 to 2016, he worked as a professor of materials and manufacturing engineering and the dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Koya University, Iraq. He did his PhD (1995) on "Corrosion Fatigue of Nitrided Alloys", and a second Ph.D. (2010) on Glass Lamination for High-Density Interconnect Substrates. His researches focus is on welding of stainless steel alloys, corrosion and surface protection, powder metallurgy, and fracture mechanics. He has published 40 papers and 4 books. He is the editor of the Elsevier Book Series - Corrosion Atlas. Rolf Gubner has specialised in Corrosion Management and Asset Reliability Engineering services and is the first qualified NACE International IMPACT Plus navigator in Australia. Previously, he was Professor of Corrosion at Curtin University, Western Australia for over 10 years and the inaugural Chevron-Woodside Chair in Corrosion Engineering from 2008 to 2014. Dr Gubner has received funding of over AU$8.6 million, has published over 100 articles in scientific journals and provided subject matter expert services to industry and government.
