Simon Jenkins has been the Yorkshire Evening Post's pubs and beer correspondent for over20 years, having also contributed to the New Statesman, Yorkshire Post, Goole Chronicle,Halifax Evening Courier, Selby Times and Tesco magazine among others. He has won numerousawards from the British Guild of Beer Writers, including their highest accolade, British BeerWriter of the Year, in 2010. His Taverner column remains a Thursday-night feature of the YEP.
