Kort fortalt er boka eit forsøk på å vise korleis homoseksualitet står i eit visst forhold til filosofien. Både gjennom at ein del filosofiske retningar kan seiast meir eller mindre tydeleg å ha fordømt homofili, medan andre filosofiske retningar som til dømes Platon og Sokrates sin kan ha sagt å ha hylle den.
Boka prøver å trekke linjer og å vise kva forskjelle personar har sagt til forskjellege tider.
Eg syns boka på ein god måte greier å unngå å latterleggjere sjølv dei mest hatefulle synspunkta mot homofili.
Alt i alt vil eg seie er at dette er ei god bok som kan auke medvitet vårt om kva som gjer at vi har nettopp det forholdet vi har til homofili. Slik sett ei bok verdt å lese.
