– What do you think of when you hear the word "ethnography"? Probably studies of foreign cultures, but in this book Hines studies Internet, a culture which does not exist on a fixed place. The book is both a theoretical overview on online studies and ethnographies as well as a case study. The case study is about the trial against the nanny Louise Woodward, who was accused of murdering a child in the US when she was an au pair. In the book, we are able to follow some internet communities that were engaged in Woodward's case. I recommend this book for people who are intersted in Science and Technology Studies, internet and ethnography. It can also be used as a book for more advanced students.
