Om forfatteren
S. A. Harris won The Retreat West Crime Writer Competition in 2017, and was shortlisted for The Fresher Prize in 2018. Haverscroft is her debut novel, she is now writing her second, a supernatural tale set on the Suffolk coast. She is a family law solicitor and lives in Norwich with her husband and three children.

This is a gripping and atmospheric tale. The Suffolk setting is powerful and the characters are well drawn with all the different elements of the plot sensitively handled. I thought it was great and was sorry when it came to an end – though I took care not to read it late at night, or in a strange place.
