Andrew D. Thrasher is a part-time professor and instructor of religious studies at George Mason University and in the Virginia Community College System, where he regularly teaches courses on Asian and comparative religions.

This work investigates the philosophical theology of inter-religious and inter-cultural scholar, Raimon Panikkar. The author brings Panikkar into critical engagement with a broad array of modern western scholars such as Martin Heidegger, Charles Taylor, William Desmond and John Milbank.
